Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 12, 2026 · Montegra Studios, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Montegra Reach exists to help businesses reach people who have a reason to hear from them. This policy describes what that means in practice. Breaching it can lead to campaigns being paused, sending being suspended, or account termination.

01Only contact people you're entitled to contact

Every recipient must have a lawful basis to receive your messages under the laws that apply to you and to them — for example express consent, implied consent under CASL (such as an existing business relationship, or an address conspicuously published in a business capacity relevant to your message), or another legal exemption you can document. Record that basis on the contact.

Do not send to purchased, rented, scraped or harvested lists, or to addresses generated by guessing patterns. Reach does not provide, and must not be used with, tools that harvest email addresses.

02Be honest and identifiable

Identify yourself and your business accurately, include a valid physical mailing address, and do not use misleading subject lines, sender names or content. Do not impersonate another person or organization.

03Honour opt-outs

Every commercial message must include a working unsubscribe mechanism. Reach adds one automatically and suppresses opted-out addresses immediately. Do not re-import, re-add or otherwise attempt to contact people who opted out, and do not remove opt-out records.

04Keep lists healthy

High bounce or complaint rates harm recipients and every other customer's deliverability. Reach automatically pauses campaigns whose bounce or complaint rates exceed safe thresholds. Repeated pauses, or attempts to work around limits — for example by creating extra workspaces or mailboxes — are a breach of this policy.

05Prohibited content and uses

No phishing, malware, fraud, or deceptive offers; no content that is illegal, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit; no messages promoting regulated goods or services without the required authorizations; and no use of Reach to probe, attack or overload any system.

Landing pages must not collect passwords, payment card numbers or government ID numbers, and must accurately describe who is collecting information and why.

06Reporting and enforcement

Anyone can report misuse at /report-abuse or abuse@montegrastudios.com. We investigate reports and may pause campaigns, suspend sending, require list remediation, or terminate accounts without refund for serious or repeated violations.
